Pledges are popping up everywhere for Me-Made-May’14. Me-Made-May is a month for sewists to wear a self-made creation for each day of the month. I honestly do not have enough for a week let alone a full month. Some of my creations from last year require repairs:
The invisible zipper busted.
A seam at the bottom unraveled.
The bodice needs shortening.
The bottom placket needs to be tacked down.
My sewing goal for this year, though, is to be able to make a pledge for Me-Made-May’15.
My pledge for this May is to work on getting these garments fixed so that I can actually wear them.
